Acrylic lenses are lens products formed by vacuum coating PMMA sheets, and their production processes mainly include casting, injection molding, extrusion molding, thermoforming, etc. Among them, vacuum coating is a key step - by uniformly depositing the metal coating on the surface of the board in a high vacuum environment, a high reflective mirror surface is formed.
However, not all acrylic mirrors can guarantee quality. Ordinary processes often face pain points such as detachment of reflective layers, distortion of mirror imaging, and poor adhesion of coatings. According to industry data, traditional acrylic mirror processing methods include semi-automatic polishing and CNC machine automatic polishing. Among them, semi-automatic polishing usually uses cloth wheel polishing or flame polishing. Cloth wheel polishing is often a combination of semi-automatic and manual methods, which is difficult to control and prone to dust generation; Flame polishing is prone to producing crystal points, burning, and charring problems, which can affect product yield.

Step 1: Substrate selection. We insist on using 100% pure PMMA raw materials to ensure high transparency and minimal impurities in the board, laying a solid foundation for subsequent coating. The transmittance of acrylic board can reach over 92%, with crystal like transparency, soft light, and clear vision.
Step 2: Precision polishing. Using CNC machine automatic polishing technology, the polishing path is programmed to control the polishing pad and polishing solution to complete mirror polishing, effectively solving the problem of low manual polishing accuracy.
Step 3: Vacuum coating. In the dust-free workshop, a fully automatic vacuum coating machine is used to uniformly deposit a highly reflective metal layer on the surface of the substrate. This process is entirely controlled by computer programming, and compared to traditional processes, the adhesion of the coating is greatly improved, which can completely solve problems such as mirror blurring and silver removal.
Step 4: Protect the coating. In response to the market's pursuit of durability, we have upgraded our scratch resistant coating process by adding a hard protective layer on the back of the mirror. Acrylic sheets have wear resistance similar to aluminum, good stability, and can withstand corrosion from various chemicals.
