Specially designed packaging solution for 3mm thin sheets:
Separate every 10 boards with 0.5mm pearl cotton and tightly wrap them into a bundle with wrapping film.
Protect the corners of each bundle with hard paper.
Small batches (1-5 bundles) are packaged in 5-layer thick corrugated cardboard boxes with bubble bags filled inside.
Large quantities (whole pallets) are wrapped in non fumigated wooden pallets with stretch film and additional strapping.
Label the packaging with specifications and indicate "Fragile, Glass, Do Not Press".
Q: Is the 3mm board too thin and prone to breakage?
Answer: The toughness of cast plates is much better than that of ordinary glass. Be careful not to break during normal use and handling. But 3mm is indeed relatively thin and is not recommended for load-bearing or large-span unsupported structures. If higher strength is required, it is recommended to choose 5mm or 8mm.
Q: Can your board bend?
Answer: The 3mm cast plate can be hot bent, and after heating to 160-180 ℃, it can be manually bent or molded. But it cannot be cold bent, otherwise it will break.
Q: Can it be used outdoors? Will it turn yellow?
Answer: Standard transparent boards will slowly turn yellow when left outdoors for a long time. If you need outdoor use, please order our "UV resistant" 3mm board, with an additional price of 15 yuan per square meter.
Q: Can you help me cut it into small pieces? For example, A4 size.
Answer: Yes, the cutting fee is calculated separately. Regular size cutting costs 0.5 yuan/meter per blade, while irregular cutting is charged based on working hours. You can also use a laser cutting machine or circular saw to cut by yourself, which is very convenient.
